SEND SETTING TO DESTINATION RUNNING IN MULTIPLE OPERATION MODES
Overview
When you broadcast a document to the destination running in multiple operation modes such as Scanner mode and Internet Fax mode, your setting is reflected in all modes, even if you have set the transmission on any mode screens. Note the following exceptions:
| Send size | When the file format is set to [TIFF-S] in Internet fax mode, transmission is only possible in 8-1/2" × 11"R (A4R) size. If an original larger than 8-1/2" × 11" (A4) is scanned, it will automatically be reduced to 8-1/2" × 11"R(A4R) before transmission. |

| File format (file compression mode) | In "Setting mode (administrator)", select [System Settings] → [Image Send Settings] → [Scan Settings] → [Scan Settings], and the compression format selected by [Compression Mode at Broadcasting] is used. |
| Color scanning | In scan mode, if the color mode setting is [Full Color], the original is sent in Mono2 to Internet fax destinations and in color to scan destinations. If you wish to send the same image as Internet fax or the fax to all destinations, tap the [Send Same Image as Fax Address] key ([Send Same Image as I-Fax Address] key when only Internet Fax expansion kit has been installed) on the action panel. |

| Scan file size | In "Setting mode (administrator)", select [System Settings] → [Image Send Settings] → [Scan Settings] → [Scan Settings] → [Compression Mode at Broadcasting]. If the broadcast destination has the data size limit being set by [Maximum Size of E-mail Attachments (E-mail)] or [Maximum Size of Data Attachments (FTP/Desktop/Network Folder)], the destinations having no such limit are also restricted. |

| Dropout color | This mode is available for Scanner and Data entry. It is linked to a mode with an appropriate function. |
