INITIALIZE PRIVATE DATA/DATA IN MACHINE
Initialize Private Data / Data in Machine
Use this to batch-delete private data, such as address books and transmission logs, for each item to enhance security of the disposal or recycling of the machine.
When this function has been executed, a notification on the completion of deletion is printed. The machine is then locked and can no longer be used.
If you wish to use the locked machine, contact your dealer.

The following pieces of data are deleted.
- All data in address books and related private data
- All data in user information
- All Job Data inside Machine
- Programs
- Pre-set Text
- Job logs
- Setting information on the system settings (initialized to the factory default)
Initializing data also resets the data security function enabled in "Security code input" to the disable state.Clearance Time Settings
"Clearance Time Settings" appears if the data security function is enabled under "Setting mode (administrator)" by selecting [System Settings] → [Security Settings] → [Security code input].
Specify the number of times clearance is executed.
