RECEIVING AN ORIGINAL BY OPERATION OF THIS MACHINE (POLLING)
Overview
When you connect to another machine and receive a document from it, this is called "Polling".
The document reception from another machine is called "Polling Reception".
You can enter multiple destination numbers. When you enter multiple destination numbers, the document is received by polling in the sequence you have entered the destination numbers.
Document reception by polling from multiple machines is called "Serial Polling".
The document reception from another machine is called "Polling Reception".
You can enter multiple destination numbers. When you enter multiple destination numbers, the document is received by polling in the sequence you have entered the destination numbers.
Document reception by polling from multiple machines is called "Serial Polling".
When you are using fax information services, you can manually poll and receive information by following the announcement of another machine.

- Do not place an original on the machine when you set the polling reception.
- You can use the Polling Reception function if the other machine is Super G3 or G3 compatible and has a polling function.
- The receiving machine (this machine) is charged during polling reception.
- You can use a combination of Polling Reception and Timer Transmission to receive a document by polling at any time, such as when you are absent or at night. (Only one timer polling reception can be set.)

Operation
Basic operations
Tap the [Others] key, and tap the [Polling] key
A checkmark appears on the icon.
After the settings are completed, tap the [Back] key.To cancel the polling setting:
Tap the [Polling] key to clear the checkmark.Enter the destination fax number

- You can enter multiple destination numbers (up to 500 phone numbers).
- When you enter multiple destination numbers, the document is received by polling in the sequence you have entered the destination numbers.
Document reception by polling from multiple machines is called "Serial Polling".
- When you enter multiple destination numbers, enter the first number, tap
, and enter the next number and so on.
- You cannot use the one-touch key if it contains a sub-address or a passcode.
- You cannot use a one-touch key in which multiple destinations are stored.
Tap the [Start] key to receive a document from the other machine
When communication is established with the other machine, the document is received.

You will hear the dial tone through the machine's speaker.Enter the destination fax number

You cannot use the one-touch key if it contains the group key in which multiple addresses are stored or if it contains a destination other than fax number.
