Male Speaker:
The unit ships with three banding straps that are easily removed with scissors. And the way our box is designed, uh there's no reason to actually open the, the top of the box. So there's no tape that needs to be cut at this point. So we got is we have four locking tabs.
A man uses scissors to cut off the banding straps on the Aquos Board shipping box.
So to unlock them, I'm going to squeeze the bottom two tabs together, lift up and pull the cap out. I will do this for the next three and then now we'll remove the skin.
The man pinches the two plastic tabs inside the locking tab and pulls upward. He pulls the plastic piece that swung outward to pull the locking tab completely off the box.
It's just straight up nice and slow and put the curtain down behind the monitor, styrofoam, screen protector foam. And there was a third piece of styrofoam, but it actually stayed inside the box. We lifted it up.
The man and another man pull upward on the top cover of the box to uncover the inside. The man removes the styrofoam pieces.
The monitor has come in a sealed bag to reduce any kind of humidity. So, uh I suggest scissors and cutting it right below the melted seam. And now we're going to curl the bag down along the sides of the string.
The man uses scissors to cut across the entire top of the aluminum-colored sealed bag holding the Aquos board. He and the other man slide the bag down to reveal the Aquos board with a protection sheet on the screen.
So this is the back side of the monitor after it's been unboxed, we have our protection sheet that's here that I recommend leaving on until after we get the brackets on.
The man points to the back of the Aquos board.
The accessories for this model are located in the rear bottom, right? You have your owner's manual, this will contain your pens, your power cable. So we're gonna put this to the side and we're gonna move on to putting on the brackets.
The man pulls out a slender box from the bottom right of the shipping box.
Here's the mounting bracket for the rear of the screen, the way we know the top, it has a hook and then we have two locking screws to keep it from falling off the plate after we mount it.
The man holds up the mounting bracket vertically and points at the top latching part with a hook and then points out the locking screws on the top and bottom latching parts.
So we're gonna start out with, for this particular model, we already know the screw is gonna be at the uppermost point and the lower most and you hand thread at this point.
He puts the mounting bracket against the Aquos board and hand-screws in a screw at the topmost hole of the mounting bracket. He hand-screws the bottommost section of the mounting bracket.
Ok. Now that I have this first bracket on but not tightened. Um, due to the weight of the string, we're going to lift up this bracket until it stops, which will leave about a third of an inch gap. And then we'll tighten the screws. Stiff hand tightening is more than this actually needs. And then again, on this arm, we lift up on the bracket and then we tighten firmly.
He pulls the bracket as far up as possible before tightening the two screws completely. He repeats the process on the right side with the second mounting bracket.
And this is the sharp option, the sound AV bar that we're gonna add on. This is a PN-ZC MS1.
He holds up the sound AV bar.
Um, what we're gonna do, we leave on this protection tab until we've got it mounted. So we're gonna just leave the sticker on there. There's actually a tab to remove it when we need to, um, standard metric screw hole on the bottom. We're gonna add this bracket ahead of time and the bracket is going to end up mounting on the rear of the screen.
He points to the plastic film on the camera of the soundbar. He turns the soundbar upside down and points at the screw hole in the center. He places the L-shaped bracket on the back of the soundbar so that the protruding part is closer to the rear of the camera.
Now, what I'm going to do is I'm going to attach the bracket that normally goes on the top of the basil, two screw hole points will face the rear of the camera and I'm gonna use, it comes with two screws, but I'm going to use the black one, which will keep the sound bar from moving too much. If you use the other screw, you'll actually get a small degree of turn left and right. But for this case, we're not going to want it.
He points to the two screw holes on the protruding side of the bracket and puts a large black screw into the screw hole between the bracket and soundbar.
And what we're gonna do now we're gonna put our sound bar down and I'm gonna remove the screen protection just temporarily get it out of the way by removing these two pieces of tape. So, what I've done is I've basically curled the protection sheet down far enough so that I can put the camera on because I want to protect the screen until we actually have it on the stand.
He unpeels the tape holding the screen protection sheet to the Aquos board and moves it over the top edge to reveal the screw holes on the back of the board.
So what I've done is this label that they put on here tells you where the center of the screen is. So what we're going to do is we're going to remove the two Phillip screws that are on either side of the centering tab.
Ok. Now that I've removed the two temporary screws in the bag of accessories that comes with the camera it's got two longer screws that we're going to utilize to mount the camera.
He mounts and centers the soundbar and then screws in two screws.
Ok. And it's mounted and we still have our screen protector on. We have our brackets on. So we're ready to get a second person and put it up on a rolling cart.
So we've already assembled our sharp rolling cart. It's a PNSR 7.80.m. And for this, we've got it backwards and we're going to lock the casters in both places so that it doesn't roll in this particular model since there's no handles on the screen. What the factory has done is they put handle holes on the side of the bottom of the box.
The man crouches down and presses down the tab above the wheel.
And so what we're going to do is since we still have a screen protector on, we're going to put one hand up on the top, we're going to put one hand on the handle hole and we're going to lift up to the bracket.
He and another man use the cardboard cutout holds to lift the Aquos board and fits it into place on the bracket.
And now that we know that it's in place, we're both going to hold the bag and the bottom of the box and we'll just pull down. OK. And with the supplied L hex we're going to tighten this until the screw bottoms out on the frame for the rolling cart. This is what keeps it from someone being able to lift it up or moving it left and right, top ones done. And now we start on the bottom. This is the most important one because this one actually keeps someone from lifting it off the bracket and we'll do the same thing on the other side.
They pull down the cardboard box and aluminum-colored bag. The man uses a hex L-key allen wrench to tighten a screw downward into the frame of the rolling cart. He repeats the process with the bottom part of the frame, this time, screwing upward.
And now, um, we're gonna to wire up the sound bar. A V sound bar. So we have power, which is a supplied adapter that comes in the box and this is a USB C. So we're gonna have a USB C cable that comes in the box and one end is type a, one is USB C. So let me connect that first. Push it until you hear a click.
He points to the circular power port and the USBC port. He plugs in the USBC cable into the port.
Ok. So here's our two USB 3.0 they're indicated with the color blue within the socket. So I'm gonna utilize the top one for my camera and we'll do the wire management after.
He plugs the other end into the top USB option on the left side of the Aquos board.
And now we have the AC adapter for the camera. So I'm gonna hold the top of the camera put that in. And this particular rolling cart comes with a power strip that you're already hooked on to here. Um We pre added the shuttle brackets. So normally it does not come with either of these brackets and then here's the adapter. What I recommend is going from the second one up because it's a raised out and that's how you would power your camera.
He plugs the AC adapter into the circular port closest to the center of the sound bar. He plugs in the block to the power strip.
And now I'm going to put in the power cord, easiest way to do it. You're gonna have your ground facing back, put up till it's nice and snug and the screen is now plugged in. So this is where we would put our optional shuttle computer.
He inserts the power cord upwards into the underside of the Aquos board and plugs the other end into the power strip. He puts his hand on the shuttle computer which is fit snugly into the shuttle brackets.
Um, the shuttle comes with an HDMI cable that we're going to utilize. It comes with, uh, what we call a power brick or AC adapter. Um, this bracket keeps it secure in place so someone can't take the AC adapter.
He holds up an HDMI cable and then points to the AC adapter which is inside of another bracket.
Uh, so the first thing we'll do is now that the shuttle's within its bracket, uh, your bracket may vary in style but for the, for this particular one, this is from our newer shuttle.
So I'm going to plug it into the upper most, which is for power. And right below that is our HDMI port and this screen in its accessory kit ships with the USB A to style B for touch. So let me connect that to the rear of the shuttle.
He plugs the AC adapter into the top left of the shuttle computer. He plugs in the HDMI cable right below. He then plugs in the USB cable into the bottom of the shuttle computer.
Ok. Ok. So this top port, uh we have three HDM I ports, but we're gonna go to HDM I one and we're gonna go to touch one. We actually have two touch terminals, but we're gonna utilize touch one.
He points at the HDMI 1 port and then points at the TOUCH 1 port above it and TOUCH 2 below it. He plugs the USB cable into TOUCH 1 and the HDMI cable into HDMI1.
And now we're moving on to installing the WiFi module. This is the front of our screen. Here's where one of two magnetic pens would go. So the way to know is the plate is just a little bit to the left of your right pen. There's going to be two fill up screws under here. These two fill up screws get removed. A plate comes down.
He holds up the WiFi module up to bottom of the screen. He unscrews two screws on the underside of the screen and removes the plate.
Ok. So we have the plate removed and there's now an exposed slot, you'll feel that it's kind of magnetic and it's going to pull it into place, just keep pushing until it's recessed. And now the Wi-Fi module is active um, in your accessory kit, it comes with two magnetic pens. So I'm going to show you the places that the screen is designed for, it will hold them right in place magnetically.
He inserts and pushes the Wi-Fi module upwards into the slot. He places two Sharp magnetic pens on the designated pen areas on the bottom of the board. The pens stay perfectly against the board.
Next accessory we're gonna set up is a remote control that comes with the unit. It has a protective film. We're going to just peel that off. Also in the accessory bag will be two AAA batteries. So we're gonna open up the bottom door and we're gonna insert the batteries based on the markings described.
He removes the remote from the packaging and peels off the film. He opens the back of the remote, inserts batteries and closes the back.
And now we're gonna remove the screen protection and our final step before powering it up, uh the A V sound bar comes with a protective screen, they will just take off. And right now we're done other than powering up the screen.
He carefully takes away the screen protection and then peels off the protective layer on the AV soundbar.
Now, our final step is the main power switch, which is right next to your AC inlet on the back of the screen. You just flip the rocker switch and now the main power is on.
He flips the switch on back of the screen below the AC inlet. He presses the power button on the front of the screen and the screen turns on.
