All Sharp devices support 256-bit AES data encryption for data-at-rest in the machine and TLS 1.3 (Transport Layer Security) for data-in-transit. For highly secure environments, such as government agencies and financial organizations, Sharp offers an optional Data Security Kit (DSK) that provides additional protection and is Common Criteria validated based on the Hard Copy Device Protection Profile (HCD PP) v1.0 standard.
