Synappx Go for MFP

How It Works

Scan to Me, Email Distribution List or Cloud Storage

With Synappx Go, you can scan a document to yourself (via email), to email distribution lists created right on your phone, or to cloud storage folders. Go to setup steps .

Be sure to place the document to scan in the MFP feeder or on the glass and confirm the MFP control panel is showing the home screen before scanning document(s). Glass can be used for single page scans. For multiple page scanning, use the document feeder.

Background Operation:

  1. Tap the Synappx Go NFC tag on or near the MFP.
  2. Select Scan.
  3. Confirm your scan destination is highlighted and select Start Scan. The default destination is highlighted automatically.
  4. The app will confirm that scanning has started and the document will be delivered. The app will return to the Scan and Print screen upon completion.

Foreground Operation:

  1. Select the Synappx Go app. Synappx Go App Icon
  2. Select Scan, Print and Copy.
  3. Select Scan.
  4. Confirm your scan destination is highlighted and select Start Scan. The default destination is highlighted automatically.
  5. Tap the Synappx Go NFC tag or built-in NFC tag (if supported) with your mobile device.
  6. The app will confirm that scanning has started and the document will be delivered. The app will return to the Scan and Print screen upon completion.

The process to scan to email distribution lists and cloud folders is similar to Scan to Me. Both foreground and background operations are supported (for more information, see Scan to Me).

When scanning to an email list or cloud folder, you can choose your default email list or cloud folder or one of the additional email or cloud folder destinations (if you set up more than one).

  1. a. On the Scan page, you will see your default email distribution list and cloud folder. To select a different email list or configured cloud folder, select >.

    b. To scan to a different cloud storage folder, choose Select Folder Now.
  2. Select a scan destination. Then select Start Scan.
